[Eric Ferguson]

Anyone owning a collection may want to create sub-collections (e.g. "publications/sheets I am prepared to lend to friends"). Mass deleting items from a collection is easy. So the best way to create a sub-collection is to delete items from a copy of the source collection.

New function needed: "Create copy of this collection [fill in new name here]". {for many users, the workaround "export to CSV / Import from CSV" will be too difficult}

This is now easily done by creating a new collection and using “Copy to collection” to copy the existing collection's items to the new one. (Possibly select “All” in the “how many items to display” pulldown and then click on the check box at the left end of the table header line to select everything in the existing collection.)
